Earlier this year I participated in a campaign for ASP.NET 2.0 developers to learn the basics of SharePoint development. This campaign, www.mssharepointdeveloper.com, contained free webcasts, hands-on labs and a preconfigured virtual machine.
Building off the success of that campaign, Microsoft is pushing out a new series of webcasts and hands-on labs around the area of building MOSS 2007 WCM Publishing sites. The series, SharePoint Products & Technologies for Internet Site Development, starts on December 2, 2008 and runs through January 6, 2009. Everything is completely free! The webcasts use the Adventure Works Travel site I mentioned in my SharePoint Pod Show podcast interview as well as in my TechEd EMEA sessions a few weeks back. In time, all the materials, as well as the sample site, will be available for download.
