PDC 2008 - Here we go!

I'm giddy... I feel like I did when I was a kid at the top of my stairs with my brother on Christmas morning waiting for my parents to give the all clear that we could race down to see what Santa left us. Two years ago when I went out on my own, I swore I'd go to PDC, but alas Microsoft cancelled it [for good reason]. Next week's should be incredible... I can't wait! I'll be your classic conference newbie... likely snapping pix, posting updates to Facebook & Twitter (yes, I'm on the wagon... @lespaulrob & @mosslover said there was a bit more room for me :) ).

If you're a SharePoint professional, make sure you head over to the Millennium Biltmore Hotel @ 7p on Sunday (OCT-26) night for a very informal and casual happy hour. I'll be there with a bunch of friends including fellow SharePoint MVPs and folks from Microsoft. We'll have a blast! What am I talking about? SharePoint by Day, SharePint by Night (even though there isn't too much SharePoint by day at this conference).

BTW - The week is capped off in the best way possible: hitting the red-eye out of LA to get home to Jacksonville, FL to make it to The World's Largets Outdoor Cocktail Party: Florida v. Georgia! It doesn't get any better that this! Go Gator Nation!
