The post discusses a problem with deprecated master pages when upgrading to MOSS 2007 Beta 2 Technical Refresh, and offers a solution.
Last week I posted about an issue you’ll run into if you have an existing Publishing Site (aka: WCM site) you created in MOSS 2007 Beta 2 and then upgrade to Beta 2 Technical Refresh. The root of the problem has to do with deprecated master pages.
Ben Schmitlin, PM on the WCM team, has posted an entry with even more detail on how to upgrade your Publishing site’s Beta 2 master pages to work in Beta 2 Technical Refresh. The error he mentions in his post is detailed in my previous post.
